The Road Not Taken..

One fine day, as i was not engaged with my coursework i decided to take a walk on the street heading to a destination where the road has to offer. It was quite a sunny day, i could feel the warmth of the sunshine piercing through my skin,the sound of birds twittering gracefully...the feel of wind blowing carrying dust particles,brushes my face gently...

Cleared my eyes from the dust particles and continued walking..I could hear the sound of the veichles passing , the sound of trishaw’s bell rinnging gasping for passengers... Smell of smoke from the exhaust pipes running trhough my nasal cavity...i kept walking ignoring what nature had to offer ...While, walking on the busy street..i came to a halt, i saw a small alleyway which led me to a different pathway but the same destination as the main road.. I was confounded, to either choose the main road which will get me to the destination which wanted to go, or take the alleyway that will take me to the same destination...

Before i could make a decision...my eyes were wondering wild towards every possible elements on the roadside which might possibly help me decide, on the road i should take... suddenly out of the wild my eye caught upon a family of cat and kittens at far side of the alleyway..The father cat dark hazel in colour was taking care of its 3 kittens.. the first kitten was a little healthy looking with a hezel eye and was able to walk by itself, meanwhile the second kitten was a little thin ,a little dark fur and was limping.. it had a dark roasted chessnut eyes..then the third kitten was the charming one, where it had beautiful brown fur with hazel brown eyes, with a perfect body structure and it was still depending on the father cat to take care of it.

Suddenly the watch on my wrist struck 12 pm, indicating noon had arrived...looking back at time..memories of the story of the three musketeers poured in...where there were 3 good friends depending on each other, when all's said and done were between them...they were so close till they knew inside out of each other’s anecdote...both the Adam’s sons were more than friendship it was brotherhood...the times they were there for each other...the times they did the most wackiest things anyone cold think of......whereas Eve’s daughter was the rose among the thorns...her inner beauty made her preety..her outer appreance..the word beautiful is just to vague to describe her beauty..she was more beautiful than the meaning of the word beautiful *god special edition*=p.... and was very much adored and cared by the Taurian son of Adam....the places they went..the songs they sang..the drama’s and dilemma they went trough was innumerable...

It was getting late...the sun was shining so brightly... the glare of the veichle’s passing by brought me to reality ....With a heavy heart...i decided to take the alleyway deviating away from the main road...it was a narrow alley...with thorns and metal wires at the sides of the walls...treating newcomers in a harsh manner...the road in the alley was well maintained...and what was surprising was that the thorns and metal wires were placed in subsequent places...but some small twigs which were sharp were creeping from one place to another...For an instance i took a view of the entrance of the alleyway and before i could come to a stady state of mind on to continue what i have choosen...5 little birds...sat on me tweeting gracefully...with the song encouraging me to look foward...although the birds were not my cup of tea...i learned to find my feet to their tweets....

While walking...on the quiet alleyway...i kept looking at the family of cat and kittens...i could see the father cat keeping high hopes...on its second kitten to be able to walk again...and the third kitten depending on its father to bring it to light....looking at the beautiful family...kept the fuel in me burning...to complete the journey...while walking...3 kilometers out of 6 kilometers trough the alley i could feel the thorns poking me gently but deeply till it left scars deep enough for me to remember till my last breath...memories of the three musketers story poured...in...tear drops began rolling down the cheek wetting the face after a long exposure to the sunshine that practically burnt the outer layer of skin......while wiping the tears from the cheeks...i noticed a sisterly stature...approaching me...and whispering to my ears...go boy u can do it! Just a little more!...you are already half the route to see daylight.....

By no time....i could see flowers blooming...between the thorns..metal wires...but the twings kept creeping...at a far distance i could see...a garden filled with rosses...beautiful fountains....birds tweeting...and angels flying....most of all i could see the second kitten jumping and playing..and the father cat being in high spirits...at the entrance of the beautiful garden i could see the two of the three musketers waiting anticipatingly...to welcome the third one...at one corner i could see the main road joining into the garden in a more levish way...

Looked back at the watch it was 12.19....and i hoped and prayed by 12.25...i would be able to reach the garden...and wondered...how would life be if i had choosen the other road which looked more alluring...the wondering continues...
